Blackhawks parade, rally set for Friday

Chicago officials Thursday morning outlined plans for the city's official Blackhawks celebration,

On Friday, a parade will start at the intersection of Wacker Drive and Washington Street, proceed east to Michigan Avenue, then up Michigan to East Wacker Drive, where a rally will begin sometime between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

"Chicago's a great city and we will celebrate in style," said Jose Santiago, executive director of the city's Office of Emergency Management and Communications. "And we'll always keep in mind safety, security for everyone that will be traveling to this city."
