Katie Finneran: Million-Dollar Diamond Gal

Katie Finneran, the curvaceously sexy actress with brain, bagged the trophy for her hilarious portrayal of a drunken barfly in the Broadway revival of ‘Promises, Promises’ at the Tony Awards 2010 held in New York last night.

When she came on to the stage to receive the award for Best Featured Actor’ in a
musical, Finneran uttered the words of thanks to her friends and family, co-star Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes. She dedicated this trophy to his fiancé, Darren Goldstein whom she just got engaged with. Describing how the engagement happened, Katie expressed Darren asked her to marry him and she accepted his proposal. This is Katie Finnernan’s second trophy at Tony Awards. Previously she had fetched it in 2002 for the play ‘Noises Off’.
