Small Earthquakes Shake Los Angeles

Some residents of Los Angeles had a rude awakening to their work week when a small earthquake shook the city at 2:17 a.m. PDT. The minor 3.6 earthquake was centered 3 miles from Manhattan Beach, Calif. in the Santa Monica Bay and the city has been shuddering ever since. The United States Geological Survey has recorded at least four other micro earthquakes, the most recent one a 1.8 tremor at 5:15 a.m. PDT.
