. We’ve seen some good matches so far, and it has to be said some rather dull ones, but the last match of today, Thursday June 17, looks set to be a thriller.
France vs Mexico is a Group A match and this is both teams second match of the tournament. If there’s a win in this match the other team will now have little chance of qualifying for the next stage of the tournament. The French team seem all at sea at the moment with little consistency or cohesion about their style of play. There were no goals scored in their first match against Uruguay and little goal-scoring opportunity either.
